DRS Infrared Technologies offers a wide array of quality modules for optimizing integration opportunities. DRS modules include a detector and system electronics. Our compact line of uncooled long wave infrared modules offers expandable architecture and flexibility for OEM camera integration. Our continuing developments drive down cost, size and increase quality. Using the latest technology like user-programmable Digital Signal Processors (DSP), we are on the cutting edge of today’s infrared solutions.

The M6000 module also uses an industry leading 640x480 VOx focal plane array with 25µm pitch and 30 hertz frame rate. It provides standard analog video output with 12-bit digital video available. User-programmable Digital Signal Processor (DSP) technology makes the M6000 extremely flexible for integration. There is also no need for a thermoelectric cooler (TEC), so the M6000 draws very little power at 3 W nominal use.

If a module based upon the DRS 320x240 VOx focal plane array with 25µm pitch and 60 hertz frame rate is preferred please refer to section on the E3500S camera engine. DRS Technologies offers a no-lens version of this camera configuration which will allow greater flexibility for the OEM user.
